Cat Care

For your feline friend

Cats

Is your cat curious? Always getting into trouble? If your cat's been hunting in dangerous territory or ended up in a cat fight, they may be left with bites and scratches. Our team of veterinary professionals are here to ensure your cat gets the treatment they need.

Independent cats still need a helping hand from time to time. We offer a range of services to ensure your cat's health is in tip-top condition.

What's up, pussycat?
We do not chase our tails when it comes to diagnosing underlying health problems in cats and dogs. With an on-site laboratory, we can analyse blood, urine and skin samples quickly, allowing us to get on with treatment and remedy.

Ticked off?
Your cat will roam and bring fleas, mites and ticks into the home. At our nurses' clinic, your cat can get their ticks removed and treatment for the control and prevention of all parasites.

Top Cat
We understand how important your cat is to you. It is our top priority to make sure they get the care they need. If you're concerned about your cat, do not hesitate to call us.

Kittens

Kittens and cats need high-quality veterinary care. A soon as you get a new kitten, it is important to have a full health check. If you register your kitten with Alphavet, we can let you know when the initial vaccinations are due - to protect your kitten against feline leukaemia, panleukopaenia and cat flu. Annual booster vaccinations are essential to maintain immunity.

What we offer your kitten:

  • 1st kitten vaccination at 9 weeks’ old
  • 2nd kitten vaccination at 12 weeks’ old
  • Neutering
  • Worm treatment
  • Flea treatment
  • Microchipping

We can offer you advice on your kitten's diet, training and grooming. Products are available to purchase in the reception area of the clinic.

  • Cosy bed
  • Kitten food and treats
  • Toys
