Small Pets

At Alphavet, we treat the majority of small animals including rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs and hamsters. Bunnies will need an annual vaccine to protect them against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease. Your rabbit can also visit our nurses' clinic for a Fly Strike treatment, general check-up and nail cutting. 

Small pets also need a lot of care, the right diet, exercise and grooming to ensure they are happy and healthy. At the Alphavet Veterinary Centre, we welcome small pets and can give you advice on how to care for them.

Insurance for small pets
In case of injury or illness, would you be able to cover vet bills at short notice? Just like with cats and dogs, we recommend pet insurance wherever possible. We strongly advise pet owners to carefully read through insurance policies to ensure they will get the right assistance if they need to call on their insurers.
